A submission after so long! And in monotone!
This one's different and is more complicated than it seems! It's actually a portrait of my sister- well, cousin, but we literally grew up together. It's her Bharatanatyam Arangetram (Yes. It'll take you a couple of tries to say that right) That's basically a dance recital, and they asked me to draw a portrait for the invitation covers. This is the costume she will be wearing- complex, yeah?
I know it looks very prototype-like. That's because it is a prototype. It was digitally put on to a black background with a lot of these elegant design thingies. Also, I've never worked with green before, so this was definitely a first for me!
Time taken: Around 26-27 hours!
Stuff I used: Derwent Coloursoft pencils, HB click pencil, kneaded and hard erasers, blending stumps.
Size of the portrait: Around 35 X 24.5 cm.
I completed this early in October so you can only imagine how eager I've been to share it with you guys!
As always, comments, critiques, faves and watches are always, appreciated!
